She's So Cold - Great Sound Quality

This is such classic video. So simple in design. My favorite is watching the timeless interplay between Ronnie Wood and Mick Jaggeer at about the 3:15 mark. Mick just like dances out of it. Just like that.

Streetside

Scenes along the half metre wide poor mans highway just beside sidewalks. Some may call it the curb and others the bike lane or even the gutter. Everyday crazy shit can happen between the speed of the cars and the elevated foot patrol. One has the time to look and not care while the other is in too much of a rush to care to bother and look. Well, lesson learned this morning? Seems redundant but....always take a look to see the bike coming before opening the car door. Another case of helmet less trauma to the face of an unsuspecting ten speedster biker son. Amazing how quickly 2 EMS, police cruiser and a firetruck get to Yonge and College at 10 am. Scene in the 1/2 metre: Crumpled speed bike, Taxi with driver side door open. Expressionless taxi driver, skinny brush cutted broken nosed road assassin speedster moaning to a cop sitting slumped on the edge while about 40 grandstanding tourists from the Days Inn Hotel are taking pictures. Then a very strange and surreal scene that seems it should be put into Harmony Korine movie. A 14 year old Hindi girl dressed in full traditional gown kick and pushing on a fat decked skate board with a total still and unwaveable concentration and calm smeared across her face while being chased by a middle aged Gerrard Street bottle collecting one tall can laker fiend on a tattered mountain bike with a confused look on his face. All of this moving at the speed of a child's stroller. Just the kind of thing that for some reason makes you want to keep looking to see why will happen next.

Homage to the Swedish Mafia up top

Eric Hjorleifson's extended "Claim" part
This segment is edited by the man himself Eric Hjorleifson. It contains shots from Matchstick's latest ski movie, "Claim" and it also has a bunch of other epic shots that hit the cutting room floor. Check it out and see Hoji rip it up as hard as anyone. There is something raw to these clips. I guess since it was not totally edited down fully for the final product. The first half just looks like friends out shooting each other. The heli shots in the second half are breathtaking.

THE BLACKS,THE WHITES, GUYS AND GIRLS AND THE KOREANS

Carmine Fanelli

The sun sets and rises over this hamlet on Sicily with harsh resolve. Problems persist in all places but here there is a constant blanket of reckon in the church. All things can be made right by the hand of God. All things it would seem but the mischief of Carmine Fanelli. The boy has simply put, the greatest curiosity youth has ever seen.

Carmine Finelli was born at a time when early birth was something that most usually ended sadly. He was so excited to see the world he left his mother's womb a full three months early. The only complication as a result would be that Carmine was always smaller then any of the other children his age. Many times a compensation for diminutive size is made in the form of a personality that can not be contained within his frame. Such is the case with Carmine Finelli.

I am trying to remember the name of that short film with Peter Katz in it. Ah yeah, what was it called again.
